A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Naglaa Shoukry at the CHUM Research Center, Montreal, Canada to work on a project funded by CIHR aimed at studying the immunological mechanisms of liver damage and fibrosis.
Description
The objective of this project is to understand biological sex in the regulation of responses immune responses during hepatic inflammation and fibrosis in various experimental models acute and chronic liver injury, including associated steatotic liver disease to metabolic dysfunction (MASLD) and interactions between the immune system, diet and the microbiome. Qualifications
- PhD in immunology, cell biology or a related field
- Experience in tissue culture and multicolor flow cytometry
- Experience in translational immunology, murine immunology, models MASLD and/or bioinformatics is a major asset
