Technology transfer office

The mission of the Technology transfer office is to advise, support and educate members of the CRCHUM community in their efforts at securing funding and exploiting their research results.

It is also responsible for protecting intellectual property (IP) and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations in effect between the CHUM and Université de Montréal. 

Services offered

• Identifying innovative research projects whose research results can potentially be exploited 
• Guiding researchers through the process of exploiting their research results  
• Developing an action plan in collaboration with the researcher in order to allow the project to achieve its full potential  
• Incorporating the strategy for publishing scientific results into an intellectual property protection approach  
• Promoting projects involving the exploitation of research results to relevant partners in the healthcare sector.
