The Canada Research Chair in Partnership with Patients and Communities, a research team located at the CHUM Research Center, has the mission of supporting the development of the science of partnership with patients and citizens. The Chair wishes to integrate a research assistant into its regular team to contribute to the development of its activities. Responsibilites

Under the supervision of the co-director of the Chair, the research assistant will assume the following roles and responsibilities in collaboration with the research team and its partners:

  • Contribute to the Chair’s research activities, particularly on the Caring Community project;
  • Contribute to the coordination of the project (e.g.: taking notes, appointments);
  • Contribute to administrative tasks (e.g.: reimbursement requests, administrative reports, ethics forms);
  • Support the organization of activities with partners (e.g.: annual face-to-face project meeting);
  • Participate in the design of tools and different data collection procedures;
  • Prepare and contribute to data analysis (e.g.: data entry and synthesis); 
  • Contribute to the writing of reports and articles resulting from the project (e.g.: summary tables, bibliographic references).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in health services, public health, psychology, human sciences, or any other relevant discipline;
  • Autonomy, organization, rigor;
  • Flexibility and ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-sector team;
  • Oral and written mastery of French and English.


What we offer

  • Schedule: 21 hours / week (part time, flexible schedule)
  • Duration: 1 year (with possibility of renewal)
  • Workplace: CHUM research center (hybrid work)
  • Salary and benefits according to CRCHUM standards
  • Planned contract start date: End of April 2025
