Gabrielle Pagé, winner of the Canadian Pain Society’s Early Career Award 2025

Gabrielle Pagé, a researcher at the CHUM Research Centre (CRCHUM) and associate professor in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Université de Montréal, is being honoured for her outstanding achievements in the field of early-career research.
The official award ceremony will take place on May 1 in Toronto at the annual scientific meeting of the Canadian Pain Society.
A researcher in the spotlight
On the International Day for Women and Girls in Science, the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine named Gabrielle Pagé as one of the four winners of the first edition of its Leadership of Women in Science programme.
This programme rewards women professors and researchers who have demonstrated excellence in research and a remarkable commitment to community service.
Each awardee will receive $2,500 for leadership training. This initiative is designed to encourage their participation in major funding initiatives, their assumption of key roles in research administration and their involvement in the public sphere
